Systematic binding variations on cDNA microarrays

Traditionally systematic variations in binding efficacy on cDNA microarrays with probe location on the gene has been explained as an effect of failing reverse transcription of the sample cDNA. Here I present an alternative, physical explanation of this phenomena.
